BAKED TORTILLA NACHOS

This is part of my No Waste Wednesday series, on my Instagram, where I share recipes to use food scraps or tips on how to store foods so that they last longer!

I often find myself with leftover tortillas sitting in the fridge after using a few and this is a great way to use them up before they go bad!

INGREDIENTS

  • Tortilla wraps, you can use any type. I had wholemeal so that is why they look darker, but any type is fine, like corn and plain tortillas.
  • Salt
  • Optional seasoning: olive oil, paprika, cumin, mixed herbs

STEP BY STEP METHOD

  • Cut the tortillas into triangles then place on a baking tray with baking paper.
  • If you want to season them, mix some olive oil with paprika, cumin, salt and mixed herbs and brush the tortillas with it. Otherwise just add salt halfway through in the oven.
  • Bake for 10 minutes at 180C until slightly browned. They’re perfect for your favourite dip!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 to tortilla wraps
  • Salt to taste

Optional seasoning

  • 1.5 tbsp olive oil
  • 1.5 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs
