Farinata - Italian Chickpea flatbread | Quick Recipe
Farinata is a classic Italian flatbread made from very few and simple ingredients: chickpea flour and water. It's crispy on the outside and slightly creamy on the inside.
Pour water into a bowl then gradually add chickpea flour and mix well with a whisk to remove any lumps. Then add oil and salt and mix well. Remove the foam from the top and let rest for 30 minutes.
When done stir again to remove any flour sitting at the bottom of the bowl then pour into an oiled baking tin. And cook for 25 to 30 minutes until slightly browned on top. Cut into slices and enjoy on its own or with a spread.
