Ingredients
  

  • 200 g tofu
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • seasoning: paprika, garlic powder, mixed herbs, salt, pepper
  • olive oil to taste for frying
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 3 tbsp vegan pesto
  • 8 sun-dried tomatoes previously soaked or in oil
  • 3 tbsp romesco sauce or hummus or any sauce

Instructions
 

  • Press your tofu to remove excess water and cut into slices.
  • Mix cornstarch with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and mixed herbs. Then coat the tofu in it.
  • Heat up some olive oil in a pan and fry the tofu on both sides until golden.
  • Toast your bread, spread pesto on one side, then add the tofu and sun-dried tomatoes. Spread romesco sauce on the other side. Cut in two halves, enjoy!
